Kids swimming lessons in Lusail, Qatar
Splash Swimming Club teaches children to swim at the pool inside Newton International School, Lusail Marina. Classes are grouped by competency rather than age, so your child trains with swimmers at the same stage and moves up when the coach signs off on the level's checkpoints.
Where the classes are
Newton International School, Lusail Marina, Lusail, Qatar. The pool is indoors, so lessons run comfortably through the Qatari summer as well as the cooler months.
The four levels
Level 1 — Ripple
Water confidence, breath control and safety habits. Graduates float and kick on both front and back.
Level 2 — Current
Independence in the water: glides, unaided kicking, treading and safe entries.
Level 3 — Wave
Real strokes at 25m, deep-water skills, dives and turns.
Level 4 — Tide
Four strokes, turns and endurance up to 100m — ready for squad or club swimming.
Starting with an assessment
Every new swimmer begins with a 30-minute assessment class. A coach checks comfort in the water, floating, propulsion and breathing, then places your child in the right level. Beginner groups are limited to 4 children and advanced groups to 6 children per coach.
